GeblerAP was a free, community art party in FFXIV, celebrating artists, gposers, and creative spirits of all kinds. While now officially closed until our final session in January, we would like to take a moment and thank all of those who participated in our art party. Even if you just hung out with us, that was more than we could even ask of you.Thank you for your time, creativity and most of all, your company.Until next time, be kind to yourselves and be well.

GeblerAP is a free, community art party in FFXIV, celebrating artists, gposers, and creative spirits of all kinds. As we take these final months to slow down, we warmly welcome anyone who still wishes to join us for creativity and company.Our space remains one built on respect and care, those who share that are deeply welcome.

The sessions on December 25th and January 1st, 2025 are cancelled. We will resume operation on January 8th.

Even if it’s your first art party or just a new one, feeling uncertain is completely normal. Please take a moment to glance over our rules and guidelines. They’re simple, nothing out of the ordinary and made only to keep the space comfortable for both yourself and other attendees.

General

  • Hashtag: Please use GeblerAP whilst tagging art when sharing art or screenshots from the event on social media such as BSKY!

expectations

  • Keep it SFW. Conversations and shared content must stay safe for work.

  • Be kind. Treat everyone with patience and respect.

  • Art/Gposes/Writing are gifts. It’s never guaranteed, please come without expectations.

  • Respect boundaries. No pressure, oversharing, or demands on others.

  • No discrimination or harassment. Hate speech or targeted behavior means removal.

Respect & Awareness

  • Gebler welcomes a diverse crowd. Please be mindful and respectful of different cultures, backgrounds, and experiences. Cultural insensitivity will lead to removal.

Mods

  • Moving forward, we will no longer be supporting the use of third party tools within Gebler to ensure a safe and non-stressful environment for everyone. Any usage of third party tools within Gebler will not be officially condoned and you will use them at your own risk.

Gebler began as a small idea in a quiet corner of Eorzea. A place for artists, writers, gposers, and wanderers to gather without pressure and comfort to create on their own terms. It grew far beyond what we ever imagined because of all of you.You all shaped this art party.You all gave it life.You all gave it warmth.And lastly, you all gave it the sense of community that felt welcoming to others.As we wind down toward our final session in January, we would like to say:

❓ What exactly is an Art PartyAn Art Party is an in-game social event where artists, gposers, and community members come together. People usually join to create, practice, have fun, or work on their projects while spending time with others.

❓ How do I participate in Art PartiesAny way you'd like realistically. You can draw, write, gpose, or use it to work on other projects as a sort of co-play environment, socialize with other attendees or with friends, the possibilities are endless.Each art party has their own quirks and rules so make sure to familiarize yourself with them. However, at Gebler, there are no expectations. Simply join in and do whatever you feel comfortable in so long as you mind our rules.

❓ What kind of art party is GeblerGebler is a low pressure, come-as-you-are type of art party where there is no expectation to create. We pride ourselves on being on the smaller side of crowds allowing a more intimate and relaxed environment for you to focus on what you want to do: draw, write, gpose or just socialize with friends.

❓ I made something at GeblerAP and I would like to share itAwesome, if that is the case and you would like to share with other attendees and you have social media such as BlueSky. You can tag your creation with the hashtag: GeblerAP.

❓ I am still confused and still have questionsThat's okay. Please feel free to reach out to myself (Shura or Kahran) or Choccy during GeblerAP hours and we would be happy to try and help.

❓ Is there any mod supportAfter the major mod shutdown, we no longer feel comfortable providing any support to third-party tools in community events and ask that you refrain from asking or pressuring other attendees to participate in them as well.

❓ What behaviors are not toleratedTo keep this space safe for everyone, the following will lead to removal, no questions asked:

  • No discrimination: racism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, or hate speech.

  • No manipulation: guilt-tripping, passive-aggression, or unloading onto others.

  • No entitlement to art/gposes/writing from others: being selected is never promised. Don’t demand, hint, or pressure.

  • Respect boundaries: don’t overshare with hosts or your fellow guests, push for attention, or ignore mod/vanilla etiquette.

  • No harassment: do not target others, in public or in DMs.

❓ Is this an inclusive spaceYes, fully. We welcome LGBTQIA+, different cultures, backgrounds and more. We cater to a variety of people at Gebler, so you are always welcome so long as you are kind and respectful to those attending.

❓ Is GeblerAP really closing down in JanuaryYes. We will be putting GeblerAP on an indefinite Hiatus until further notice and will be moving on to other projects afterwords. While this is not entirely the end, we do plan to have sessions occassionaly when the time and resources are available to both of us.
